Military Subject Matter Expert – Business Development & Marketing

About The Position

We are looking for a driven professional with a strong military background to join our team in a hybrid role combining Subject Matter Expertise, Business Development, and Product Marketing.

The role is focused on actively identifying new business opportunities, representing the company externally, and driving market adoption of our products through expert-led engagement.

Bagira Systems is a Czech-Israeli company, a leader in training and simulation systems, with many years of experience in providing cutting-edge and effective mission readiness solutions tailored to customer requirements. Bagira simulators are used for training by hundreds of thousands of soldiers in more than 40 locations around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company to customers, partners, and stakeholders in the defense and security domain
  • Actively identify new opportunities to present, demonstrate, and sell company products
  • Plan and execute product presentations, demonstrations, and briefings
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), translating operational military needs into product value
  • Actively participate in exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and customer demonstrations
  • Prepare and maintain a strategic business and marketing plan for the assigned domain or region
  • Regularly report activities, results, and pipeline status to management
  • Work closely with the development team to align product roadmap with customer and operational requirements
  • Support business development and sales processes with expert input
  •  Independently drive initiatives forward with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

Requirements

  • Military background
  • Operational experience as JFT, FO, and/or JTAC
  • Solid understanding of NATO procedures, standards, and operational processes
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including customer-facing engagements
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage own priorities
  • Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international)
  • Experience working in or with international and multicultural teams
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
  • Systematic problem-solving skills and positive mindset
