We are looking for an experienced developer focusing on C# to join our Czech-Israeli team. The team is responsible for developing new software features for our products, such as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) simulator or a CBRN simulator—a virtual training system for units dealing with hazardous materials—and more.

Bagira is a leader in the field of training and simulation systems, with many years of experience in providing cutting-edge and efficient solutions for mission readiness tailored precisely to customer requirements. Bagira simulators are used for training by hundreds of thousands of soldiers across more than 40 locations worldwide.

In our Brno R&D center, around 30 people are dedicated to software development. We build a lot of things in-house—from core simulations and the rendering engine to evaluation software. In addition to WPF teams, we have an IG (Image Generator) Team that handles simulation logic, computational models, and audio—mainly in C++, but also C# and Lua. 2D/3D modelers work with our internal graphics engine, 3D Studio, or Blender, and we also have a testing/integration team.

We use MS Azure DevOps for reporting and as our repository. Project work is divided into TaskForces, and we operate in 2-week sprints.

Your Mission:

• GUI development for product applications
• End-to-end development of new features and controls
• Writing unit tests (xUnit)
• Optimization and refactoring of existing code
• Working with Data Distribution Service (DDS), Entity Framework, MS SQL
• Collaboration with colleagues and teams in Brno as well as abroad

Your Experience:

• Several years of experience with .NET development
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework (Code-First)
• Experience with client-server architecture and API development
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: WinForms, WPF, UWP, WinUI, Xamarin, or .NET MAUI
• Experience with network protocols and technologies such as SignalR, REST API, RabbitMQ, and DDS
• Communicative English and Czech
• Advantage – experience with React, Angular, simulator, or game development
• Analytical thinking, ability to work both independently and within a team
• Willingness to travel (approx. 3–4 times per year)
