We are looking for an IT Operations Lead who will take ownership of our local IT operations and play a key role in developing and improving our IT environment. You will lead the local IT team, manage daily operations, projects, vendors, budget, and ensure reliable IT services across the organization.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and the Global IT & Security Manager to define priorities, implement new systems, improve processes, and support the company’s long-term IT strategy. You will also be responsible for ensuring security, compliance, and continuous improvement across our IT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the local IT department.
• Build the annual IT work plan and define priorities in alignment with business objectives.
• Manage the IT budget, procurement activities, and cost optimization.
• Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and external consultants.
• Recruit, lead, mentor, and evaluate IT team members.
• Define team objectives, workload, and resource planning.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor IT projects from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate IT activities across departments and company sites.
• Assess business requirements and recommend new information systems and technology solutions.
• Manage the lifecycle of enterprise applications, including evaluation, implementation, upgrades, and retirement.
• Lead business readiness activities for new systems, including user communication, training coordination, testing support, and go-live planning.
• Coordinate integration between business applications, infrastructure, and organizational data flows.
• Ensure new IT systems are successfully adopted by the business.
• Develop and maintain IT operational procedures and documentation.
• Monitor IT service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, ISO 27001, NIS2, and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external IT audits.
• Prepare management reports, project status updates, KPIs, and departmental performance reviews.
• Work closely with the Global IT & Security Manager to support the organization's IT strategy and long-term roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing an IT department or IT operations.
• Proven experience leading employees and external vendors.
• Experience managing IT budgets and procurement.
• Experience leading cross-functional IT projects.
• Experience managing enterprise information systems and software implementations.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working in an international organization – Advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2, or similar compliance frameworks – Advantage.
• English proficiency (written and spoken) – Required.
