About The Position
Bagira is a leader in the field of training and simulation systems with a track record of delivering high-end, customized, cost-effective solutions for mission readiness. Bagira’s simulators are being used by hundreds of thousands of soldiers at more than 40 sites worldwide.
Bagira is looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the technical definition and execution of our products. In this role, you will work closely with the Product Manager, R&D, HW, SW, IT, QA, Delivery, Support, and Project teams to translate product vision and customer needs into clear technical requirements, architecture, work plans, and deliverables.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the product is technically feasible, well-defined, scalable, maintainable, and ready for successful development, testing, delivery, and support.
What will you do?
- Own the end-to-end technical lifecycle of the product - from concept and architecture through development, integration, validation, delivery, and long-term maintainability.
- Own the product's technical characteristics: architecture, system behavior, interfaces, configuration, constraints, and performance.
- Translate product vision, roadmap, and customer requirements into clear technical requirements, development objectives, and work items, and partner with the Product Manager to shape the backlog across SW, HW, IT, and integration.
- Lead solution architecture and technical design discussions, defining system architecture, interfaces, integration concepts, and the technical documentation needed for development and delivery.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs before and during execution, and guide feature design, implementation strategy, and technical decision-making.
- Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and implementation plans.
- Support developers, engineers, QA, and delivery teams through implementation, testing, and deployment; monitor progress, resolve complex issues, and escalate when needed.
- Participate in technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, FAT, SAT) and ensure alignment between requirements, implementation, validation, and customer delivery.
- Support system validation, acceptance testing, installation readiness, and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical leadership, systems engineering, solution architecture, or a technical product role.
- Strong grasp of multidisciplinary systems spanning software, hardware, IT, networking, and integration in operational environments.
- Ability to translate product and customer needs into clear technical requirements, specifications, and work packages.
- Experience defining system architecture, interfaces, and integration concepts.
- Sound technical judgment on feasibility, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Proven collaboration with Product Managers, developers, QA, project, delivery, and support teams, and ability to align them around a practical approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues across development, testing, and delivery.
- Working knowledge of testing, validation, and acceptance processes, plus the technical documentation that supports them.
- High ownership and execution orientation; excellent communication in Hebrew and English.
Nice to have skills:
- Software development experience – strong advantage.
- Experience with simulation, training, defense, command-and-control, or other operational platforms.
- Background in systems, software, hardware, or integration engineering, across both product development and customer delivery.
- Experience with Agile development and backlog tools (TFS / Azure DevOps / Jira or similar).
- Experience leading technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, FAT, SAT) and familiarity with product lifecycle, production, installation, and support readiness.
- Experience preparing or reviewing BOMs, ATPs, test and integration plans, installation instructions, and O&M documentation.
- Ability to prototype and validate technical concepts independently in a matrix organization with multiple engineering and delivery stakeholders.
