Als Junior IT Technician bij Bagira Systems speel je een cruciale rol in het waarborgen van de technische integriteit en gereedheid van onze simulatoren voor trainingsdoeleinden binnen de Koninklijke Landmacht. Jouw expertise zorgt ervoor dat onze simulatoren en systemen, zowel hardware (HW) als software (SW), altijd optimaal functioneren op legerbases in centraal Nederland.
Belangrijkste doelstelling:
Jouw missie is ervoor te zorgen dat Bagira-simulatoren continu operationeel zijn, beschikbaar zijn en presteren volgens de hoogste standaarden voor training. Je wordt gedreven door resultaten zoals maximale beschikbaarheid van de simulatoren, naleving van onze strikte Service Level Agreement (SLA), goed onderhouden apparatuur en positieve gebruikerservaringen.
Locatie:
Deze functie is gericht op legerbases in de centrale regio van Nederland. Regelmatig reizen naar andere bases in de regio kan nodig zijn.
Verantwoordelijkheden:
- Proactieve ondersteuning en troubleshooting bieden bij klantlocaties volgens SLA-afspraken.
- Tier 1 helpdeskondersteuning bieden voor directe gebruikershulp.
- Preventief onderhoud uitvoeren op legerbases om de betrouwbaarheid van de simulatoren te waarborgen.
- Technische ondersteuning bieden bij de uitvoering van trainingsoefeningen met Bagira-simulatoren.
About the Role:
As a Junior IT Technician at Bagira Systems, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our simulators' technical integrity and readiness in training within the Royal Netherlands Army. Your expertise will ensure constant readiness and optimal performance of our simulators and systems, both hardware (HW) and software (SW), across army bases in central Netherlands.
Key Objective:
Your mission is to guarantee that Bagira Simulators are consistently operational, available, and performing to the highest standards for training purposes. You will be driven by results such as simulator uptime, adherence to our stringent Service Level Agreement (SLA), well-maintained equipment, and positive user feedback.
Location:
This position is centered around army bases in the Netherlands' central region. Regular travel to other central bases within the country may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive support and troubleshooting at customer sites under SLA metrics.
- Offer tier 1 help desk support for immediate user assistance.
- Perform preventive maintenance at army base sites to ensure simulator reliability.
- Support the technical execution of training exercises using Bagira simulators.
Requirements
Vereisten:
- Minimaal 1 jaar ervaring als IT-technicus of een relevant diploma. Pas afgestudeerden met een relevante opleiding worden ook aangemoedigd om te solliciteren.
- Als je een passie hebt voor IT en computers met praktische ervaring, zelfs zonder formele opleiding, moedigen we je aan om te solliciteren.
- Grondige kennis van verschillende besturingssystemen en netwerken.
- Sterke diagnostische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
- Effectieve communicatie in het Nederlands en Engels.
- Uitstekende organisatorische en tijdmanagementvaardigheden.
- Een geldig rijbewijs voor noodzakelijke reizen tussen locaties.
- De kandidaat moet woonachtig zijn in Nederland en beschikken over een Nederlands of ander EU-paspoort.
- Een Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag (VOG) is vereist voor deze functie.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as an IT Technician, or relevant educational certification. Recent graduates with relevant degrees are also encouraged to apply.

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
